STUDENT WELLNESS

As Engineering students, we pride ourselves to be logically efficient, great problem solvers, creative thinkers and excited to challenge ourselves in any field we find ourselves. However, engineering can be very stressful and can easily lead to poor mental wellness if not addressed. We are here to build your spirits by creating events focused on mental health awareness, stress relief events and educating students on their mental health resources.

 

Our Stress relief EVENTS

loosen up Lassonde

These mental health events are low energy, self-reflecting and meditating events created to help you bring a positive mindset to the students at Lassonde! There will be a total of three events held monthly excluding exam periods. Loosen Up Lassonde events includes but not limited to the following events:

  • Rhythms with LES

  • Expres YA Vinci at Berg

  • The PHs-7 Challenge (Pure Hours of Sleep-7)

  • Puppies at Berg

Get off your A$$

These mental health events are high energy, fun and active events created to help you cope mentally and reduce your stress! There will be a total of three events held monthly excluding exam periods. Get Off Your A$$ events includes but not limited to the following:

  • Plate Smashing

  • Know your MHR! (Mental Health Resources)

  • Blossom Fitness Event

  • Mukbang with LES
